Facts about process technology

First of all purchase good quality of spices from the market, clean it with the help of Cleaning Machine with proper Aspiration System. After cleaning you clean it with De-Stoning machine for separating stone, glass pieces or any other metal parts or any other foreign matter. You can pack whole spices in case moisture is perfect i.e., less than 10%. If it greater you can remove the moisture with the help of drier at a low temperature as low as possible.

Grinding Process
You know there is volatile substance in all the spices, which is the strength of every spice. These volatile substances start evaporating at a temperature more than 30
° C. More the volatile substance evaporates strength of the spices become less (faint). So, it is suggested to grind the spices at a very low temperature. So that volatile substance should intact.

ACM 300
This is possible in our ACM Series Micro Pulverizer and by Cryozinic Grinding only. (i.e., grinding at 0° C or below.) We are having this perfect technology for you.

In the ordinary hammer Mill, Beater type pulverizer which people use in a general way in Indian Industries. By grinding from this process:
» Temperature of the grinded material goes to 70° C - 80° C, when you grind the spices at this temperature most of the volatiles substances evaporate. So your product becomes very inferior without any cause.
» Second effect is that when the grinded material goes to 70° C - 80° C we have to cool down the temperature of material at room temperature before packaging in the packing room. In this process spices absorb the moisture form the room and oxidation start at the same moment.
» Due to that Shelf life of the Spice becomes less to avoid that always use De-humidifier in the Packaging Room & avoid grinding by low technology Pulverizer.

Benefit of ACM Micro Pulverizer

In ACM Micro Pulverizer:
» There is no loss of weight during grinding
» Hygienic system
» Less noise
» No vibration in building
» Total dust free atmosphere
» You can grind any spice up to required mesh in one grinding only.
» You can change the mesh size by rotating the knob.
» There is no sieve in the machine.

Solution for Processing of Spices & Herbs:
» Clean the material properly.
» Dry the spices up to 10% moisture level at low temperature Drier.
» Grind the material at low temperature as low as possible.
» Grind the material without Hammer & Beater.
» All Contact parts should be Stainless Steel for grinding the material.
» Pack the material as soon as possible after grinding.
» Do not keep space for air in the Packaging Pouch.
» Avoid hand touching from Cleaning to Packaging to maintain Hygienic Conditions.
» All food items like Flour, Besan etc. should be made at lower temperature for increasing Shelf life of product.
» All machines should be cleaned once a day properly.
» There should be no dust pollution in the processing Hall to avoid dust pollution always use Reverse Jet Filter. Complete system for separation of dust and gaseous media.

Points to be remember during process of Spices & Herbs:
» All Spices & Herbs having Essential oil and oleoresin, which are intact at lower temperature only. Volatile substances evaporate when you grind the material at higher temperature.
» Oxidation start when the material comes in contact with air at higher temperature than the room temperature.
» For Spices & Herbs grinding the acidic value of spices & herbs will react with the ferrous particle of grinded media and oxydised ferrous will be mixed with grinded material and our material can be rejected in the International Market.
» Do not grind the spices when moisture content is high it will reduce the Shelf life of material.
» Mainly in all spices 5 to 7% is oil and oleoresin only is fibre. There is no value for fibre in Spices & Herbs.

Value Addition Product from Spices & Herbs
As we have already told that Spices & Herbs value depends upon values of Essential Oil or Oleoresin. For your reference:
Chilli Oleoresin price is Rs. 2,500/- per Kg
Turmeric Rs. 4,000/- per Kg
Ginger Oil Rs. 4,000/- per Kg
Rose Flower Rs. 3,00,000/- per Kg
Raat ki Rani Rs. 3,25,000/- per Kg
Texole (Extracted from grass produced
in Andhra Pradesh & Coastal Area)
Rs. 2.0 Crore/Kg. (Rs. Two Crore per kg.)

So there is very high value addition of products in this area.

We are having various models for grinding the material with Single machine. Capacities vary from 30 kg. to 2000 kg/Hour. We are having best technology for getting Oil & Oleoresin and other extract. We can get up to 92% of the total value present in the material. So if you have interest in value addition product you can write to us. There is a huge demand in the International Market for these high values Product.
