The
grain is tangentially fed to the horizontal
rotor. This special rotor carefully picks
up the product and throws it against the scouring
jacket. The intense whirling motion of the
grain layer results in :

Tailings
can be delivered to a type aspiration channel
located on the same floor.
The throughs are carried off separately. The
machine is driven by v-belt (fixed speed).
A variable-speed drive is also available for
special applications.
Optimum
cleaning action can be achieved by attaching a good
aspiration unit to the outlet of the scourer. Our
Aspiration Channel is best suited for this purpose.
It permits efficient layout of plant and easy accomodation.
Husks , chaff , small seeds , insect fragments as
well as broken and hollow kernels can be cleanly
separated and efficiently removed by using this
scourer which can be adapted to obtain the desired
cleaning effect.
